Loek Hartog secured pole position for his Porsche Carrera Cup North America debut by topping qualifying for the season opener at Sebring International Raceway.

The Dutchman, piloting the No. 24 Kellymoss Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, reeled off a best lap of 2:03.291 to beat Gustav Burton by 0.035 seconds.

It marks Hartog’s first pole position in the North American series, having previously competed in Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and Porsche Carrera Cup Germany.

Ryan Yardley picked up third place aboard the No. 78 Topp Racing Performance machine, ahead of JDX Racing’s Alex Sedgwick and the No. 77 Topp Racing car in the hands of Colin Kaminsky.

Kaminsky completed the overall top five, with Michael McCann sixth for McCann Racing leading the No. 9 JDX entry driven by Zachary Vanier.

Michael Cooper slotted into eighth for Baby Bull Racing, with Yves Baltas and Jimmy Llibre rounding out the overall top ten.

In Pro-Am, Alan Metni secured pole position by steering the No. 99 Kellymoss entry to a best lap of 2:04.259, which was good for eleventh place overall.

Chris Bellomo ensured Kellymoss secured a sweep of all three class by leading the way in the Masters category, setting a 2:04.944 to beat MDK Motorsports’ Mark Kvamme by a mere 0.064 seconds.

The opening race of the weekend for Porsche Carrera Cup North America takes place Thursday at 4:55 p.m. EDT.
