Porsche squad Manthey has finalized its driver lineups across its pair of GT class entries for the upcoming Asian Le Mans Series season.
The German squad will once again enter a pair of Porsche 911 GT3 R Evos for the six-race campaign that kicks off on Nov. 14-15 at Paul Ricard as it seeks to regain the title it won when it first entered the championship in 2024/25.
However, it is boasting a revamped lineup featuring only two of its six pilots from the 2025/26 season, with Klaus Bachler and Richard Lietz returning as the designated Pro drivers for the No. 91 and No. 92 entries respectively.
Bachler will share the No. 91 car with FIA Bronze-rated Max Moritz, who raced in the European Le Mans Series this year, and GT3 rookie Raphael Rennhofer.
Rennhofer, whose main 2026 program came in the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nurburgring, already raced alongside Bachler and Moritz in the final round of the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup season at Portimao.
Meanwhile, Lietz joins Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe Club division champion Joel Monegro and Porsche junior Flynt Schuring.
The younger brother of former Manthey FIA World Endurance Championship racer Morris Schuring won this year’s Porsche Supercup title and has gained GT3 experience in GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup and in the NLS.
Manthey’s head of racing Patrick Arkenau said: “After narrowly missing out on defending our title last year, our goal is to fight for the championship again this season.
“To do that, we have assembled two very strong driver lineups featuring both familiar and new faces.
“We are particularly excited about the stories behind these crews: Raphael Rennhofer has worked his way through our development programs and now makes the step into GT3 racing.
“Joel Monegro has progressed alongside us from his first experiences in Porsche Track Experience all the way to the Asian Le Mans Series.
“With Flynt Schuring, we have the opportunity to support the next talent from the Schuring family following the success we shared with his brother Morris.
“Alongside them, Klaus Bachler and Richard Lietz bring invaluable experience and represent important constants within our programs.
“These lineups demonstrate how closely connected the different areas and projects within Manthey are. Now, we want to translate that collaboration into sporting success and challenge for the title with both cars.”
