The Asian Le Mans Series has released a six-race schedule for the 2024/25 season, featuring an extra fixture at Dubai Autodrome.

Like the 2023/24 season, the upcoming campaign will be made up of three race weekends, beginning with a visit to Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit on Dec. 6-8 before back-to-back weekends at Dubai and the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

However, while only one race was held at Dubai this year, the Feb. 7-9 fixture will now be a double-header, bringing it in line with the Sepang and Abu Dhabi weekends and increasing the total number of races from five to six.

Frederic Lequien, the CEO of series organizer LMEM, commented: “After consulting with the teams, a sixth race has been added while keeping the three-event format that proved to be popular with the teams and fans alike.

“The calendar also reflects the desire to ensure there is no clash with the Rolex 24 at Daytona, allowing the teams that wish to compete in both series the ability to do so.

“We are really looking forward to another great season of action-packed racing in the Asian Le Mans Series.”

ACO President Pierre Fillon added: “The Asian Le Mans Series continues to develop, attracting a larger field of competitors every year. The diversity and high calibre of entries make the series essential viewing.

“To underpin its development, and in full consultation with the competitors, we are delighted to announce a denser and more attractive calendar. This format, featuring two races per weekend, is appreciated by fans and competitors alike.

“We look forward to seeing you in Sepang in December for another action-packed season of this series!”
