An estimated 100,000 fans packed Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand on Saturday for practice and qualifying for the third round of the 2015/2016 Asian Le Mans Series season.
The capacity crowd at the Hermann Tilke-designed circuit, located 270 miles northeast of Bangkok, can be attributed to a national holiday for children, who turned out in force for the family day of action.
Remarkably, it could end up being the second-most attended ACO-labeled event to the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The Three Hours of Thailand is set for Sunday.
