Ecurie Ecosse to Return with BMW Z4 GT3

Having finished third in the European Le Mans Series season in 2013, Ecurie Ecosse will return to the expanding championship this year with a BMW Z4 GT3. (En Français)

The effort will again be headed by Barwell Motorsport, with the Mark Lemmer-led squad set to announce its driver lineup, comprised of one former ELMS champion, in the coming weeks.

Additionally, the British-based Barwell squad is evaluating different car options for its second program, which would either for British GT or the Blancpain Endurance Series.

Danish driver Jan Anderson, who contested the 24 Hours of Dubai and Aston Martin GT4 Challenge events alongside Lemmer, will continue with the team in a to-be-determined program.

Barwell’s 2013 British GT and GT Cup drivers, Piers and Ron Johnson are also in discussions.
