Alguersuari to Test Ibanez Oreca 03R Nissan

Ex-Formula One driver Jaime Alguersuari will test one of Ibanez Racing’s Oreca 03R Nissans at Motorland Aragon this week, as the French squad prepares for the 2015 European Le Mans Series season. (En Français)

The former Scuderia Toro Rosso F1 driver will be one of the drivers in action during the five-day test in Spain.

The Spaniard raced in ADAC GT Masters last season, while also competing in the Formula E Championship for Virgin Racing.

Alguersuari will share the first of the team’s two Nissan-powered Oreca O3Rs with VdeV Endurance Series driver Jordan Perroy.

Team owner José Ibanez will drive the second car on the Tilke-designed circuit near Alcañiz, Spain. He will share driving duties with Wolf Racing Cars’ Ivan Bellarosa and French racer Pierre Perret.
