ADESS, the manufacturer behind the Lotus T128 LMP2 car, has revealed plans to build its own cost-capped prototype for customers worldwide.
Unveiled Wednesday, the Munich-based engineering firm took the wraps off the ADESS-02, an evolution from its LMP1 concept announced in June.
“The ADESS-02 is another milestone in the history of the company and is the result of our experience in Formula 1 and endurance racing.” said Stephane Chosse, CEO of ADESS AG.
Sharing some striking similarities in design to the Lotus T128, the new LMP2 concept has been developed according to the 2014 FIA LMP regulations and is built around a new-for-2014 LMP1 monocoque.
According to the manufacturer, the car can be fitted with a variety of normally aspirated and turbocharged engines.
