Jota Sport has announced Nick Yelloly will not be racing the team’s Gibson 015S-Nissan in the European Le Mans Series and the FIA WEC rounds at Spa and Le Mans.

The 24-year-old driver was announced earlier this month, but the British squad today confirmed the GP3 race winner will no longer feature in its plans.

“Unfortunately Nick is not now part of Jota Sport’s 2015 plans,” said Jota’s Sam Hignett.

“Since our announcement earlier this month it transpires conflicting elements and commitments mean its best we go our separate ways with immediate effect.”

Jota Sport is likely to announce a new third driver for the ELMS 4 Hours of Silverstone next week.
