Creventic has released a 67-car provisional entry list for next year’s 24H Dubai featuring 32 cars in the headlining GT3 division.

Previous winners Herberth Motorsport, Car Collection Motorsport and Land-Motorsport are all signed up, although two-time defending winner Team WRT is absent at this stage.

However, the BMW outfit’s team principal Vincent Vosse told Sportscar365 in Bahrain last weekend that it hasn’t completely ruled out pursuing a third consecutive victory.

“It’s not confirmed, but we are looking to do it,” he said. “It’s a good preparation. We like to do it, and it makes sense in terms of logistics.”

Car Collection, which took victory at Dubai in 2019, is fielding a pair of Porsche 911 GT3 Rs and a single Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II.

2017 winner Herberth has a single Porsche under its own name while Pure Rxcing, which received technical support from the German squad this year, is also entered.

Land-Motorsport will aim to replicate its 2009 triumph with a single Audi entry.

Sainteloc Junior Team is set to run a pair of Audis and the German manufacturer will also be represented by Attempto Racing in what is set to be the first major race since its withdrawal of factory support for GT racing after this year.

Five-time Dubai class winner Dragon Racing will become the first team to run a Ferrari 296 GT3 at the event and Leipert Motorsport will do the same for the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2.

Porsche is the best-represented manufacturer with nine cars including further Type-992 machines from Grove Racing, Huber Motorsport and Ebimotors, as well as older Type-991.2 models from MRS GT-Racing and Saalocin by Kox Racing.

Century Motorsport is set to field a pair of BMW M4 GT3s as part of a three-car total for the manufacturer that also includes ST Racing’s commitment.

IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and FIA World Endurance Championship team The Heart of Racing will again link up with SPS Automotive Performance to run a Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.

Other Mercedes-AMG entries come from MP Motorsport, 7TSIX, CP Racing and GetSpeed Performance.

The GT3 field also has an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 run by Modena Silverstone and a Team Parker Racing Bentley Continental GT3.

Twenty cars will contest the 992 class for Porsche 911 GT3 Cup machinery, while the GT4 category has five entries and there are also five cars from five different brands in GTX.

A pair of TCR vehicles and a three-car TCX grid, consisting of two Ginetta G55s and a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, complete the overall list.
