The all-new Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R will be unveiled on Oct. 3 in the ADAC GT Masters paddock at Hockenheim.
Now that the successful career of the Corvette Z06.R GT3 is coming to an end, Callaway Competition will introduce a successor for the 2016 season.
The privately developed C7 GT3-R been in the works since 2013, but the project was put on hold at the end of 2013 due to the GT Convergence talks.
Ten years after its debut, the Corvette Z06.R GT3 still managed to grab four podiums in the German ADAC GT Masters this season, where it currently lies seventh in the standings.
The C7 GT3-R will most likely continue to focus on the German-based GT3 series.
