Some of these cars just feel like they were on tv like yesterday XD
    How time flys!

Matt, to be fair, many of these cars at the Classic 24 (GT1 Saleen, LMPCs, DPs, etc.) were basically declared “historic” by various current racing series.

I’ve been to all three Classic 24s. What a great idea! I’m definitely going back for my fourth.

The Classic 24 gives me a second annual excuse (like I really need one) to attend sports car races at Daytona (back in the day, there was the IMSA 24-hour at the beginning of the year and the Daytona Finale to finish off the season), and also provides a forum to see these cars race on, instead of being stuck in a museum.

That #48 red IMSA Corvette is too cool.

I absolutely loved the format of the race. I was following it as much as I could online. HSR put on a whale of a show.

Looking forward to the Sommet des Légendes at Tremblant next year!

The last pic, you can see a Saleen S7R. Man that car was a dream of mines back in the day. Seems like yesterday, watching Oreca taking victory at Le Mans in the S7R final and its only LMGT1 class victory.

Not Oreca, it was Larbre Competition that won at Lemans with the Saleen S7.

Ahh Yes, mybad. Thanks for the correction. It was Larbre Compétition back in 2010. (I’m getting old) lol. But I sure do miss the GT1 days.
