Staveley Fastest in Final Practice at Long Beach

Drew Staveley led the way in the second and final practice session prior to qualifying for tomorrow’s Pirelli GT4 America Sprint round on the streets of Long Beach.

The Ian Lacy Racing driver laid down a weekend-best 126:915 lap time in the No. 12 Ford Mustang GT4 late to go quickest in the 35-minute session.

Staveley edged out the No. 66 TRG Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport of Spencer Pumpelly by 0.033 seconds, with Friday’s pace-setter James Sofronas third on the time charts.

Michael Cooper in the No. 10 Blackdog Speed Shop McLaren 570S GT4 and the No. 72 Robinson Racing Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R of Shane Lewis completed the top-five.

No major incidents were reported in the session, which ran without any red flags.
