Switzerland’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo set the pace across Friday’s pair of practice sessions for the FIA Motorsport Games GT Cup competition at Vallelunga.

Patric Niederhauser registered the fastest lap of the day during the second of two 80-minute segments, with the ADAC GT Masters champion stopping the clock at 1:32.304.

This put the Swiss Lamborghini, which is being run by Raton Racing, four-tenths clear of the FP1 benchmark set by the France team’s Mercedes-AMG GT3.

The French car driven by Jim Pla and Jean-Luc Beaubelique went on to trail the Swiss car in FP2, after a 1:32.534 improvement in the afternoon.

In third on a time of 1:32.727 was Thailand, which is running a Porsche 911 GT3 R forVutthikorn Inthraphuvasak and Kantadhee Kusiri.

The top five was rounded out by Germany’s Porsche entry and the Russian-badged Ferrari 488 GT3.

Friday’s second session took place in completely dry conditions after the morning run was declared wet following a rain spell earlier in the day.

FP2 was interrupted by two brief red flag periods, the second of which brought the session to an end.

All twenty-two cars made it out for second practice, including the Portuguese Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo which sat out the first session of the weekend.
