TRD development driver John Geesbreght is gearing up for a championship season as the 19-year-old will again be paired with longtime Smooge Racing co-driver and team principal Kevin Conway in Pirelli GT4 America competition.

The pairing will campaign the new Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO in the SRO America-run series that kicks off at Sonoma Raceway in early April.

“I am really looking forward to this season, we have the new GR Supra GT4 EVO and new a partnership with CNR” said Geesbreght.

“TRD and Smooge Racing have given me the support and resources to succeed both on and off the race track, so I can’t wait to keep building on the momentum from the past two years.”

Conway added: “I am stoked to keep the band together and chase another championship with John and Smooge Racing,

“The new GR Supra GT4 EVO is awesome and it’s going to be the car to have this year in GT4 America – I can’t wait to get to Sonoma with CNR and all of our great partners and teammates.”

Multi-championship winning squad Smooge is set to field multiple entries in GT4 America, GT America powered by AWS and the new GR Cup Series.

It includes the recently announced Isabella Robusto, a fellow TRD development driver, who will be in an additional GR Supra GT4 EVO in GT4 America.

“We had a great season last year as we expanded to a four-car team. We are building on that foundation as we are fielding multiple GR Supra GT4 Evos in both GT4 America and GT America along with four GR86s in the GR Cup Series,” said Conway.
