A bumper 29-car entry is set to close out the third season of Toyota GR Cup North America at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend, with the battle raging for the final two positions on the championship podium.

Westin Workman wrapped up the drivers’ title last time out at Barber Motorsports Park, with the BSI Racing driver untouchable following an impressive second half of the single-make series season.

However, the battle for second and third in the title race will continue for the final two rounds, with Copeland Motorsports’ Jaxon Bell currently holding a 15-point advantage over Ethan Goulart of TechSport.

Lucas Weisenberg, however, is also still in contention for a top-three championship result, with the Lucas Racing driver just two points behind in fourth.

Among the changes on the entry list since the most recent races in Alabama include former PT Autosport Aspiring Driver Shootout winner Henry Drury returning to action in the No. 88 Copeland-run Toyota GR86 Cup.

Drury, the 2024 series rookie-of-the-year, fills in for Max Stallone, who steps away from the series this weekend in order to remain eligible for several post-season scholarships and shootouts.

GR Cup teams take to The Brickyard for the first time on Wednesday with a pair of test sessions, followed by Practice 1 on Thursday. Practice 2 and Qualifying 1 is on tap for Friday, with Race 1 slated for a 8:50 a.m. EST start on Saturday, prior to the Indianapolis 8 Hour presented by AWS.

Race 2 is on tap for Sunday at 11:05 a.m., with both races to be streamed on SRO’s GT World YouTube channel.
