Bechtolsheimer, in the No. 5 Gradient Racing Acura NSX GT3 Evo, posted a quick time of 1:56.134 in the 60-minute session, which started in full wet conditions before drying out.

The Bronze-rated driver led an Acura 1-2 in the session, which saw only seven of the 17 cars turn laps.

The No. 43 RealTime Acura of Dane Cameron was second quickest, followed by the No. 91 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Anthony Imperato in third.

Qualifying is set to get underway Saturday at 10:35 a.m. EDT.
