Ryan Dalziel laid down the quickest lap in the second practice session of the day for Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS competitors at Circuit of The Americas.

The Florida-based Scot reeled off a quick time of 2:04.742 in the No. 33 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 296 GT3, outpacing the No. 04 CrowdStrike by Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Colin Braun 0.275 seconds.

Braun’s 2:03.956 from the morning session, however, held as the quickest of the day.

Jan Heylen was third quickest in the afternoon in his No. 45 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R, followed by the Pro class pace-setting No. 28 RS1 Porsche and Pro-Am No. 16 ACI Motorsports Porsche, which completed the top-five.

TRG’s Valentin Hasse-Clot was sixth in the No. 007 Aston Martin Vantage GT3, with the No. 53 MDK Motorsports Porsche seventh and the No. 38 ST Racing BMW M4 GT3 eighth.

The repaired No. 08 DXDT Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo and No. 21 Conquest Racing Ferrari completed the overall top-ten.

Qualifying is set to get underway Saturday at 9 a.m. PT ahead of the first race of the season at 3:10 p.m. CT, which will be streamed live on SRO’s GT World YouTube page.
