Driver lineups for next weekend’s Indianapolis 8 Hour presented by AWS have been confirmed in the latest entry list released by SRO Motorsports Group for the Intercontinental GT Challenge and Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS season finale.

The 25-car field, as previously revealed earlier this month, has seen further driver confirmations, primarily from Porsche customer lineups that are set to represent the German brand.

As previously reported by Sportscar365, IGTC points leader Ayhancan Guven has been placed with Fanatec GT Pro-Am squad GMG Racing, alongside full-season co-drivers Tom Sargent and Kyle Washington.

Guven is currently tied for the lead of the globe-trotting GT3 series with Laurens Vanthoor, who has elected to stand down from competing in the race in order to focus on his FIA World Endurance Championship commitments.

Fellow Porsche outfit Wright Motorsports, which leads the Fanatec GT America Pro class standings, will utilize Laurin Heinrich as its third driver with Elliott Skeer and Adam Adelson in the No. 120 Porsche 911 GT3 R.

Kay van Berlo, meanwhile, will join the Fanatec GT Pro effort RS1 alongside Trent Hindman and Jake Pedersen, with Porsche Carrera Cup North America points leader Loek Hartog part of Herberth Motorsport’s Pro-Am lineup with Antares Au and Patric Niederhauser.

They join the previously confirmed Porsche Pro-Am lineups from EBM and Car Collection Motorsport.

Fanatec GT Pro-Am squad MMG has yet to confirm its third driver in its Porsche with Kyle Marcelli and Jean-Frederic Laberge.

Porsche, which does not have a car entered in the IGTC Pro class, currently holds a 16-point lead over BMW in the IGTC manufacturers’ standings, with Mercedes-AMG sitting third.

BMW’s two IGTC-focused entries from Team WRT, as previously confirmed, will be driven by Charles Weerts, Sheldon van der Linde and Dries Vanthoor (No. 31) and Augusto Farfus, Dan Harper and Max Hesse (No. 33).

Fellow BMW factory driver Nick Yelloly has been added to the Fanatec GT Pro-Am entry from Flying Lizard Motorsports, while Connor De Phillippi completes Random Vandals Racing’s lineup in the Fanatec GT Pro class BMW M4 GT3 with Conor Daly and Kenton Koch.

Philipp Eng, fresh off victory at the Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, meanwhile, completes the No. 28 ST Racing BMW lineup, with John Capestro-Dubets in the No. 38 Pro-Am class machine,

Turner Motorsport’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship driver Patrick Gallagher will join Robby Foley and Justin Rothberg in the Pro-Am entry.

Mercedes-AMG will have six entries across all three classes, headlined by newly crowned three-time NTT IndyCar Series champion Alex Palou in Lone Star Racing’s Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo with Fabian Schiller and Luca Stolz.

It will join GruppeM Racing’s entry of Maro Engel, Jules Gounon and Mik Grenier in the IGTC Pro class.

SunEnergy1 Racing will make its first IGTC start since the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour, with its Pro-Am effort of Kenny Habul, Lucas Auer and Jaden Ojeda, while Triple Eight JMR is also entered in the class with the trio of Prince Jefri Ibrahim, Jordan Love and Arjun Maini.

Fanatec GT America race winners Regulator Racing, meanwhile, will add Elias Seppanen to its Pro-Am class Mercedes-AMG with full-season drivers Philip Ellis and Jeff Burton, while the third driver in Chouest Povoldeo Racing’s entry has yet to be confirmed.

While not scoring IGTC points, Chevrolet, Ferrari and Acura will all be represented on the grid, with several cars vying for Fanatec GT America championship honors, namely DXDT Racing, which has added Alexander Sims to its No. 63 Corvette Z06 GT3.R alongside Tommy Milner and Ale Udell, who ride an eight-race win streak in the Fanatec GT Pro class.

As previously announced, Patrick Liddy and Blake McDonald join Bryan Sellers in the sister, Pro-Am class Corvette.

AF Corse will have two Pro-Am class Ferrari 296 GT3s, with Cedric Sbirrazzuoli joining Riccardo Agostini and Custodio Toledo in the No. 88 entry and Toni Vilander joining forces with Ozz Negri and Jay Schreibman in the No. 163 car.

Racers Edge Motorsports will field the lone Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 in the race, featuring Gabby Chaves alongside full season Fanatec GT Pro drivers Zach Veach and Luca Mars.
