Rowe Racing will field a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 in the Blancpain Endurance Series this year, the German team announced today.
The team didn’t confirm the class it will competing in, but has a reputation of bringing together good lineups.
The Hans-Peter Naundorf-led squad will soon announce the drivers on the No. 99 car.
Rowe is a VLN stalwart and competed in the German ADAC GT Masters last year. The team previously raced in the Blancpain Endurance Series back in 2013 when it entered a car in the Total 24 Hours of Spa.
“The Blancpain Endurance Series is a demanding category with very attractive circuits in Europe that we already know from test sessions and other races,” said team principal Hans-Peter Naundorf.
“We have a background in endurance racing, an area in which we have already had a lot of success.
“Therefore, we want to find our way quickly and be able to challenge for positions at the front of the field.”
