After skipping the Total 24 Hours of Spa, the No. 98 ROWE Racing Mercedes will make a return to the Blancpain Endurance Series this weekend in a bid to secure the Pro Cup teams’ title.

The German team will return to its regular two-car lineup at the Nürburgring, where it will not only vie for the drivers’ title with Stef Dusseldorp and Nico Bastian, but also still has a shot at the team’s title, where only the best positioned car is eligible to score points.

Kenneth Heyer and Miguel Toril will join 18-year-old Danish driver Nicolai Sylvest to form an all-Silver lineup on the second ROWE Mercedes SLS.

The German-Spanish duo previously started the season with Car Collection Motorsport and moved to GT Russian Team for the 24 Hours of Spa.

The initial entry list for this weekend’s three-hour race indicated that Heyer and Toril would make a return to Car Collection, but the team will compete with a new lineup, which sees Karl Wendlinger make his return to the series.

The former Austrian Formula One driver will team up with team principal Peter Schmidt and Swiss racer Daniel Allemann on the No. 33 Car Collection Mercedes, which will most likely compete in the Pro Am Cup.
