Farnbacher Racing and Reiter Engineering will join the Blancpain Sprint Series field this weekend, as the series heads to Brands Hatch for its second round.

ENTRY LIST: Brands Hatch

After managing to attract 20 competitors for the season opener at Nogaro (France), the Sprint Series has now grown to a 22-car field, as all cars that raced in France have confirmed their presence for the British round.

Farnbacher Racing is the first team to enter a Porsche 911 GT3-R in the series, bringing the total number of manufacturers represented up to seven.

The German team comes from the ADAC GT Masters and will field one of their Porsches for silver-rated Swiss driver Philipp Frommenwiler and Porsche factory ace Nick Tandy, who will race in front of his home crowd on the 2.433-mile GP Circuit layout.

Besides entering a Lamborghini Gallardo FL2 under the Blancpain Racing banner for Peter Kox and Marc Hayek, Reiter Engineering will field an additional car for the potent duo Tomas Enge and Stefan Rosina this weekend.

Elsewhere, Brazilian stock car driver Valdeno Brito Filho replaces Nelson Piquet Jr. in the BMW Team Brasil Z4 No. 0, while Roman Rusinov will make his first appearance in the series on the G-Drive Racing (run by WRT) Audi R8 LMS ultra after missing the Nogaro weekend due to a clash with FIA WEC Six Hours of Silverstone.
