Giancarlo Fisichella is out front in the Total 24 Hours of Spa after the opening hour, having led the way since the start in the pole-sitting Kaspersky Motorsport Ferrari 488 GT3.

The Italian driver got a clean start as the race got underway, building his lead gap up to two seconds by the end of the opening lap, while the current margin is 12 seconds.

Kevin Estre runs in second position in the KÜS Team75 Bernhard Porsche 911 GT3 R having taken over the position from Mirko Bortolotti who made an early pit stop with 50 minutes completed.

Bortolotti’s No. 63 Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracan GT3 currently runs in 39th position although few other cars have completed their first pit stop yet.

An incident at La Source between Jake Dennis’s Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi R8 LMS and Alessandro Pier Guidi’s AF Corse Ferrari is under investigation, which resulted in Pier Guidi making an early stop.

Olivier Beretta meanwhile has been given a drive-through penalty as a result of contact with Luca Filippi at Les Combes, which sent Beretta’s Ombra Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 into a spin.
