Chris Froggatt and Tempesta Racing will join this season’s Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and International GT Open grids with a Ferrari 488 GT3.

The 2018 Ferrari Challenge Europe Trofeo Pirelli Am champion will team up with Chris Buncombe and Jonathan Hui in the Pro-Am class for the team’s Blancpain GT Endurance Cup program.

The pairing of Froggatt and Buncombe made their SRO debut representing the United Kingdom in the FIA GT Nations Cup at Bahrain late last year (pictured above).

Just as at the Bahrain event, AF Corse will continue to run their Ferrari this season.

In addition to the five-race Blancpain GT program, Froggatt will join Eddie Cheever in a GT Open entry.

“I’m really looking forward to this busy season of racing ahead,” said Froggatt.

“It will be my first step into longer endurance races and will certainly provide new challenges.

“I’ve known all my teammates for a little while now and pleased with the line ups that we have pulled together.”

Buncombe will defend the Pro-Am title he won last year with Strakka Racing, meanwhile.

“I had a taste of the 488 when I joined Chris for the FIA GT Nations Cup races in Bahrain at the end of last year.

“It’s a fantastic car and I can’t wait to get back on track in it! I love the racing in the Blancpain GT Series and we’ll do what we can to challenge for the Pro-Am title again.”
