Montaplast by Land Motorsport has finalized its lineup for the Rolex 24 at Daytona, ahead of its planned season-long campaign in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

The German squad, which claimed GT Daytona class honors in October’s Motul Petit Le Mans, will return with two of its three winning drivers, in Audi GT3 factory ace Christopher Mies and rising star Sheldon van der Linde.

The 18-year-old South African will be joined by his older brother, Kelvin, and the team’s ADAC GT Masters regular Jeffrey Schmidt.

It will mark both van der Linde’s debuts in the Florida endurance classic, as Kelvin looks to add to his win tally, following victories in the Nürburgring 24 and California 8 Hours last year, with Land and Magnus Racing, respectively.

The team came less than three-tenths away from claiming class honors at Daytona, in its IMSA debut last year, with its lineup of Mies, Schmidt, Jules Gounon and Connor de Phillippi.

Land’s entry is expected to be one of two season-long Audi R8 LMS efforts in GT Daytona this year, alongside Magnus Racing, which returns to the series after a one-year stint in Pirelli World Challenge.

While a full-season entry has been submitted, there are three clashes between the WeatherTech Championship and GT Masters schedules, which could make it difficult for the team to do full seasons in both championships.
