Madison Snow and Neil Verhagen have claimed pole positions for this weekend’s Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS at Sebring International Raceway, marking a new GT3 track qualifying record for the BMW factory driver.
Snow reeled off a best lap of 1:59.719 to edge out the No. 94 BimmerWorld BMW M4 GT3 of Chandler Hull by 0.598 seconds.
Eric Filgueiras will start third in Race 1 in his No. 28 RS1 Porsche 911 GT3 R, which has a fresh gearbox installed after Friday’s issues, followed by the No. 93 Racers Edge Motorsports Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 of Ashton Harrison in fourth and Seth Lucas completing the top-five in the No. 53 MDK Motorsports Porsche.
George Kurtz made a last-lap flyer to put the No. 04 CrowdStrike by Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo on Pro-Am class pole with the sixth quickest time overall.
Q2 saw Verhagen storm to a 1:58.763 lap in the No. 38 ST Racing BMW to claim a new GT3 track qualifying record at the famed Florida airfield circuit, ending up more than a half-second clear of the competition.
Ryan Dalziel was second in the No. 33 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 296 GT3, followed by Jan Heylen in the No. 45 Wright Motorsports Porsche and the Pro class pole-sitter Mario Farnbacher fourth in the No. 93 Racers Edge Acura.
