Dragon Racing has confirmed a two-car Ferrari lineup for next month’s Gulf 12 Hours.
The UAE-based squad, which has its headquarters at the Dubai Autodrome, will field a pair of Ferrari 296 GT3s for the twelve-hour race at Yas Marina Circuit on Dec. 15.
Reigning European Le Mans Series LMGT3 champion Axcil Jefferies will spearhead the No. 77 car, teaming up with South African racer Xollie Letlaka, Ramez Azzam and Khaled Al Marzouq.
Meanwhile, experienced prototype racers Matt Bell, Wayne Boyd and John Schauerman will form a three-man crew aboard the sister No. 88 machine.
Bell and Boyd both previously competed in LMP2 machinery, driving for the likes of Nielsen Racing, United Autosports, Cool Racing and Team Virage.
Additionally, Boyd gained extensive experience in LMP3, notably sharing a United Ligier JS P320 Nissan with Schauerman in last year’s Michelin Le Mans Cup.
Out of the three drivers, only Bell boasts previous familiarity with GT3 machinery, having competed with Kessel Racing in Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS, Haupt Racing Team in the Intercontinental GT Challenge and contesting multiple editions of the Bathurst 12 Hour with Bentley.
