Rising stars Giacomo Altoe and Taylor Proto will complete Ebimotors’ driver lineup for next weekend’s Rolex 24 at Daytona.
Sportscar365 has learned that 18-year-old Altoe, the defending Lamborghini World Final champion, will make his IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship debut alongside 2018 Super Trofeo North America runner-up Proto in the No. 46 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo.
The pair of Lamborghini Young Drivers join the previously confirmed duo of Fabio Babini and Emanuele Busnelli in the GT Daytona class entry.
The Italian team is set for its second Rolex 24 start in the last three years and will receive technical support from the 2018 class-winning Grasser Racing Team squad.
A total of five of the new Lamborghini Evos are set to take part in the twice-around-the-clock enduro, which also kicks off the four-round IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup.
Only one seat in the 47-car Rolex 24 field remains unconfirmed, with the final driver in the No. 29 Montaplast by Land Motorsport Audi R8 LMS Evo not yet announced.
