A ten-race schedule has been revealed for the second season of the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY while the introduction of Attack Mode has been confirmed for the single-make electric series.
The 2019-20 season will get underway with a double-header at Ad Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, on Nov. 22-23, supporting the ABB FIA Formula E Championship season-opener.
The I-PACE eTROPHY will be present at eight of Formula E’s 12 scheduled weekends, finishing with another double-header in support of the London E-Prix on July 25-26.
Between the Saudi and British races, it will race in Mexico City, Hong Kong, Rome, Paris, Berlin and New York City.
The only Formula E rounds that the I-PACE eTROPHY won’t be present at will be Santiago, Seoul and the two TBC dates, one of which is likely to be cancelled, while the other is set to be a return to Sanya.
Jaguar’s support series isn’t set to race in Jakarta if a Formula E race in the Indonesian capital is confirmed.
Attack Mode will also be implemented into the I-PACE eTROPHY this season after successful trials were completed in New York City in July.
“It’s exciting to look forward to season two of the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY and reveal the exciting locations for our second year,” commented Jaguar Racing director James Barclay.
“New for season two is the London double-header which is a fantastic opportunity to race the I-PACE eTROPHY twice in front of our home crowds.
“We are also excited to bring Attack Mode to the series. It has been a big success in Formula E and I am sure it will also inject even more excitement into eTROPHY.”
