Hannah Greenemeier gave Heart of Racing Team back-to-back IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge pole positions in a frantic conclusion to qualifying for this afternoon’s Canadian Tire Motorsport Park 120.

Greenemeier in the No. 26 Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo recorded a best lap of 1:22.461 to edge out fellow GS class competitor Paul Holton by 0.247 seconds.

It came after GS qualifying was red-flagged five minutes into the 15-minute session when Ford Koch went flying into Moss Corner in his No. 23 Koch-Copeland Motorsports Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2.

Koch, who climbed from the car under his own power, although it set up a three-minute and 25-second shootout that saw drivers only able to get one flying lap.

Greenemeier claimed her first career Pilot Challenge pole, just two weeks after her co-driver Hannah Grisham scored pole at Watkins Glen International.

The No. 54 Panam Motorsport Toyota of Caio Chaves will start third, with Moisey Uretsky and Allen Patten completing the top-five.

TCR pole class honors went to LP Montour in the No. 93 MMG Honda Civic FL5 TCR, leading a front row lockout for the Japanese manufacturer and his second consecutive top qualifying run for the Canadian driver.

Montour’s 1:22.663, which was just two-tenths slower than the GS pole-sitting time, edged out the No. 5 KMW Motorsports With TMR Engineering Honda of Rocco Pasquarella by 0.072 seconds.

His time was second quickest overall, in what turned out to me a mixed order between the two classes in qualifying due to the limited GS running, although all GS cars will be gridded ahead of TCR, per Pilot Challenge regulations.

Bryson Morris qualified third in class the points-leading No. 33 Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Elantra N TCR.

Sam Baker (Baker Racing Audi RS 3 LMS TCR) and Steven Clemmons (Victor Gonzalez Racing CUPRA Leon VZ TCR) made it four different manufacturers in the top-five in class.

The Canadian Tire Motorsport Park 120 gets underway at 1:25 p.m. EST with live coverage on Peacock and IMSA’s YouTube channel, ad-free courtesy of Michelin.
