A capacity 56-car field is set for next weekend’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, the third round of the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup.

Released on Wednesday, the entry is comprised of 13 GTP entries, 12 LMP2s, ten GTD Pro cars, as well as a 21-car GTD field.

GM factory driver Nico Varrone, who started his Endurance Cup campaign in Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports’ Corvette Z06 GT3.R, will switch to Proton Competition’s Porsche 963 in the GTP class.

Varrone, who drives for the team in the FIA World Endurance Championship, will team up with regular drivers Neel Jani and Nico Pino, with Tristan Vautier notably absent.

The majority of the GTP field have gone with its full season two-driver lineups, except for the No. 31 Action Express Racing Cadillac V-Series.R, which sees Frederik Vesti join Earl Bamber and Jack Aitken.

Additionally, Kaku Ohta joins Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly in the No. 93 Meyer Shank Racing Acura ARX-06, which came out on top in the most recent WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race in Detroit.

Lamborghini, meanwhile, will return with its Riley-run SC63 for drivers Romain Grosjean and Danill Kvyat.

There are no significant changes to the ten-car LMP2 class since its most recent race at Sebring International Raceway, except for Manuel Espirito Santo replacing James Roe in the No. 73 Pratt Miller Motorsports Oreca 07 Gibson.

Additionally, Matthieu Vaxiviere is in for Nicklas Nielsen in the No. 88 AF Corse Oreca.

GTD Pro sees two-driver lineups exclusively, with confirmation of Ben Barnicoat’s return to the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3, Sandy Mitchell in for Marco Mapelli in the No. 9 Pfaff Motorsports Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 and DragonSpeed opting for only Davide Rigon and Albert Costa in its No. 81 Ferrari 296 GT3.

Magnus Racing will make its return to series competition following its short-lived retirement, with its Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo for John Potter, Spencer Pumpelly and Marco Sorensen.

Andrew Waite, meanwhile, joins Triarsi Competizione in its No. 023 Ferrari, while Daniel Morad has been drafted into the No. 32 Korthoff Competition Motors Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo as its third driver.

As previously announced, Ben Tuck will join Conquest Racing’s Ferrari effort, while third drivers in the No. 78 Forte Racing Lamborghini, No. 80 Lone Star Racing Mercedes-AMG and No. 83 Iron Dames Porsche 911 GT3 R remain to be announced.

The latter comes amid Michelle Gatting’s foot fracture that ruled her out of this weekend’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.
