Davide Rigon and Daniel Serra will return to Risi Competizione’s GTD Pro lineup for next weekend’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen.

The two Ferrari factory drivers will be teaming up behind the wheel of the No. 62 Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020, which returns for its third consecutive IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup round.

The pairing have formed Risi’s lineup for each of the previous two enduros alongside a rotating cast of drivers.

The Houston-based outfit secured a class podium at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, when Rigon and Serra were joined by Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado.

Rigon and Serra then teamed up with Eddie Cheever III at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, where Serra secured pole position in class.

In contrast to the previous two events, the pair will not have a co-driver to complete their lineup.

Regulations allow GTD Pro teams to run with two-driver crews for the six-hour enduro at Watkins Glen International.

This is in contrast to the GTD class, where a lineup of three drivers is mandated.

Notably, this will be the first time Risi Competizione has run the event in six years.

Its last Watkins Glen outing came during the 2016 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, when Giancarlo Fisichella and Toni Vilander ran the event as part of the team’s full-season effort in the GTLM category.

No word has been given on the team’s plans beyond The Glen, although it’s believed the team will likely also contest the season-ending Motul Petit Le Mans in October.
