Riley Dickinson ended Friday’s practice sessions at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on the top of the time charts, thanks to a late flyer in the second session in Montreal.
The Kellymoss driver reeled off a chart-topping 1:36.399 lap time to go quickest of the day in Canada, 0.153 seconds ahead of second-placed Zachary Vanier in the No. 9 JDX Racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.
Vanier, who paced the morning session, was one-tenth quicker than the No. 11 Alegra Motorsports Porsche of Michael De Quesada in third, with Topp Racing’s Ryan Yardley fourth on the time charts.
Yves Baltas, who swept the weekend in Montreal last year, completed the top-five, ahead of Nolasport’s Matheus Leist.
Pro-Am was led by the No. 54 GMG Racing Porsche of Patrick Mulcahy, thanks to a 1:37.776 lap time in Practice 2, while Scott Blind was quickest in Masters in his Ruckus Racing machine.
Qualifying is set to get underway Saturday at 10:25 a.m. EST.
