Significant progress been made to the French-built car since the initial renderings, which sees a revised nose and sidepods.

Initial wind tunnel tests have already been completed, ahead of on-track testing that will follow prior to its race debut next year.

The car is slated to run with a three-cylinder 1.2-liter hybrid engine paired with a large cryogenic fuel tank for the liquid gas storage. It will be the first of its kind to race in the French endurance classic.

Further details on the project are expected to be released in the coming months.
