Jaegermeister-Based Livery For McIntosh’s BMW at Fuji

The iconic orange Jaegermeister colors will adorn a BMW racer again after being revealed as the latest livery for Anthony McIntosh’s BMW M4 GT3 EVO in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The livery was first seen on BMW touring cars in the 1970s and quickly became synonymous with the German manufacturer’s machinery with several notable names, including Niki Lauda and Hans-Joachim Stuck respectively driving BMW 3.0 CSL ‘Batmobile’ and 320 Group 5 cars in the colors.

The design has now inspired the latest of the rotating cast of color schemes adopted by WRT’s No. 69 BMW that McIntosh shares with Dan Harper and Parker Thompson for the Fuji round on Sept. 27.

WRT described the livery as being “synonymous with an era of bold colors, big wings and even bigger characters — something that rings true with the No. 69 trio.”

McIntosh revealed plans at the start of the season to run a different special tribute livery on the car at each of the eight WEC rounds.

Other color schemes to have been used so far this year include a Tic Tac-inspired design for the Imola opener and a BMW Parts livery at Spa.
