Reigning champion Klaus Bachler will make his Michelin 24H Series return this weekend at the Michelin 12H Spa-Francorchamps.

The Porsche factory driver, who won the championship with Proton Huber Competition last year, will join the Herberth Motorsport squad alongside Max Moritz and Alfred Renauer in the No. 269 Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo.

A grid of 41 cars will enter the 12-hour race, including last year’s championship winners Proton Competition.

Proton’s No. 73 Porsche will be manned by Jörg Dreisow, Constantin Dressler, Manuel Lauck and Robert de Haan.

Mercedes-AMG has the most cars on the Spa grid with six Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evos campaigned across five teams.

The No. 28 GetSpeed Team PCX Racing Mercedes-AMG, which took pole in the opening round at Mugello, is set to return with Benjamin Paque, Jordan Boisson, Patrick Charlaix and Marvin Klein at the wheel.

GetSpeed’s sister car, the Getspeed Team JR286 Mercedes-AMG, will be driven by Steve Jans, Tanner Harvey, Patrick Liddy and Adam Osieka.

Douglas Khoo, Aaron Lim Say Joon and Dominic Ang will drive Viper Niza Racing’s No. 65 Mercedes-AMG, while MP Racing will continue to compete with siblings Manuela, Corinna and David Gostner and their father Thomas, with Pepe Massimo joining them for Spa.

HOFOR Racing will field husband-and-wife duo Alexander and Chantal Prinz alongside Torsten Kratz and Chantal’s father Michael Kroll in the No. 11 car.

Tamil actor Ajith Kumar will continue his 24H Series campaign with Ajith RedAnt Racing alongside Kobe de Breucker and brothers Yannick and Ayrton Redant in the No. 93 Mercedes-AMG.

The McLaren 720S GT3 Evo will also return to the 24H Series in Spa in the hands of Optimum Motorsport. British GT regulars Morgan Tillbrook and Freddie Tomlinson will be joined by German Salman Owega.

HAAS RT will make a return in Spa after a disappointing late-race retirement in the opening round of the season.

The team will field two Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo IIs; the No. 21 full season entry of father-and-son Nicolas and Peter Guelinckx will add Simon Balcaen to its roster in Spa, and the No. 2 Audi will feature Pierre and Mathieu Castelien, and Steven Palette.

Continental Motorsport will compete with Vasily Vladykin, Paul Scheuschner and Akhil Agarwal in its No. 69 Audi.

Three Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evos will also line up on the Spa grid.

E2P Racing’s No. 90 car will return with the regular trio of Pablo Burguera, Antonio Sainero and Oliver Campos.

Additionally, Comtoyou Racing will enter two Aston Martins. The No. 40 car will be driven by Jan Jaap van Roon and Tom Coronel, and the sister No.41 entry will see Xavier Knauf, Gregory Servais and Nicolas Baert behind the wheel.

Series regulars Era Motorsport return with its Ferrari 296 GT3 and the usual driver lineup of Dwight Merriman, Oliver Bryant, Ryan Dalziel and Jake Hill.

A second Ferrari will compete in Spa; Pellin Racing will make its first appearance of the season with Lisa Clark, Kyle Marcelli, Jeff Westphal and Andres Latorre driving the No.29 entry.

ARC Bratislava will return for the second round of the championship with the only Lamborghini on the grid. Its No. 44 Huracan GT3 EVO was an overall podium finisher and GT3-Am class winner in Mugello.

The regular squad of Gerhard Tweraser, brothers Adam and Matej Konopka, and their father Miro will share driving duties.

Fourteen cars will compete in the 992 Class, with championship leaders Mühlner Motorsport set to return in the No. 90 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup driven by Conrad Tox Leveau, Martin Rump, Tim Scheerbarth and Julian Hanses.

The GT4 class makes a return in Spa with two entries: Circuit Toys’ Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 and the Ginetta G56 GT4 of CWS Engineering.

The 12-hour race will take part across two days, with the first five-and-a-half hours taking place on Saturday, before an overnight intervention and the final six-and-a-half hours concluding the race on Sunday.

Live coverage of qualifying and the race will be streamed on Creventic Motorsports TV YouTube channel featuring Radio Le Mans commentary.
