Ross Chouest led the way in the second and final GT America powered by AWS practice session at Road America.

The FIA Bronze-rated driver reeled off a best lap of 2:07.614 in his No. 50 Chouest Povoledo Racing Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R to edge out the No. 04 HP-TECH Motorsport Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo of Tony Davis by 0.099 seconds.

SRO3 points leader Memo Gidley was third quickest in the No. 56 SKI Autosports Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II.

Scott Blind and Dave Musial Jr. completed the top-five in their Ruckus Racing and Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R Evos.

The session ended eight minutes early after a sizable accident for the sole Cup class entrant, David Lecko, at the exit of The Kink in his Ginetta GTP8.

Lecko’s entry sustained considerable damage in the shunt.

Qualifying is next up and is scheduled for Saturday at 9:05 a.m. CST.
