2015 ADAC GT Masters champions Luca Ludwig and Sebastian Asch will be reunited for the 2019 season, having been confirmed in HB Racing’s Ferrari 488 GT3.

Ludwig keeps his place in the HB squad from last year while two-time champion Asch signs on from the Zakspeed team with which the pair secured their title together in a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3.

The duo were co-drivers for two seasons in 2015 and 2016 and took five victories during that time, including three in their championship campaign.

After that, Ludwig switched to Audi squad BWT Muecke Motorsport for a term before joining HB Racing, while Asch remained at Zakspeed.

Ludwig shared the HB Ferrari with Dominik Schwager for most of 2018 but also partnered Alfred Renauer and Ferrari works driver Davide Rigon at select races.

HB Racing was the only team to enter a Ferrari into GT Masters last year and is set to receive “in-depth factory support” in the forthcoming season, which starts at Oschersleben in April.

“In Luca Ludwig and Sebastian Asch, we have signed two of the top names in touring car racing,” said HB Racing team manager Andreas Fuchs.

“We see this partnership as being real contenders for the title. A big thank-you goes to our main sponsor OM-Klebetechnik and to our other partners and sponsors who have made this project possible.
