The No. 912 Manthey EMA Porsche 911 GT3 R of Ayhancan Guven set the early pace of the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour with three hours in the books.

Guven led the way while under the race’s second safety car period, for a spin for the No. 701 Vortex Invitational class entry, that split the strategy up front.

While the leading Manthey EMA Porsche remained on track, both the of the Team WRT BMW M4 GT3s pitted to top up fuel during the early stages of the yellow.

Raffaele Marciello and Dries Vanthoor ran third and fourth, respectively, as a result, behind the No. 130 GruppeM Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Felipe Fraga, which is currently under investigation from a possible pit stop infraction.

The No. 888 Triple Eight Racing Engineering Mercedes-AMG of Broc Feeney ran fifth, ahead of the No. 13 Phantom Global Racing Porsche of Bastian Buus and Kenny Habul’s No. 75 SunEnergy1 Racing Mercedes-AMG, which lost time during its pit stop due to a slow driver change.

The pair of Melbourne Performance Centre-run Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo IIs were eighth and ninth with Brad Schumacher and Christopher Haase, respectively, with Maxi Goetz having completed the overall top-ten.
