The Suzuka 10 Hours is under its first Full Course Yellow following a heavy crash by the No. 58 Garage 59 McLaren 650S GT3 of Come Ledogar.
Contact between the No. 59 McLaren and one of the M-Sport Bentley Continental GT3s sent the Frenchman hard into the wall late in the third hour of the race.
Ledogar climbed from the car under his own power although it’s resulted in retirement for the sole McLaren.
The No. 888 GruppeM Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Tristan Vautier continues to lead, with the Frenchman holding an 11-second gap over Davide Rigon in the No. 27 HubAuto Ferrari 488 GT3.
Maxi Goetz runs in third in the No. 43 Strakka Racing Mercedes, with the No. 07 Bentley in fourth in the hands of Jules Gounon.
Trouble also struck the No. 7 D’station Porsche 911 GT3 R of Earl Bamber earlier in the hour, with the Kiwi slowing on track with a suspected mechanical issue.
The highest-placed Porsche runs in 10th, in the hands of Dirk Werner.
