Jeremy Fletcher claimed a pole position sweep in Toyota GR Cup North America at Circuit of The Americas.
The Copeland Motorsports driver, who returned to victory lane in Saturday’s opening race of the season, stormed to pole for the second and final race of the weekend.
Fletcher’s 2:26.122 lap time in the No. 22 Toyota GR 86 Cup some 0.508 seconds quicker than RVA Graphics Motorsports by Speed Syndicate driver Max Schwied, who made a late-session improvement to second.
It bumped points leader Spike Kohlbecker to third, who was unable to respond after already being in the pits at the time.
Ethan Ayars and Will Robusto completed the top-five, for BSI Racing and Speed Syndicate, respectively.
The 15-minute session was interrupted early on for debris in the Esses, although the red flag lasted only a few minutes.
Race 2 is set for a 10:40 a.m. CST start with live coverage on SRO’s GT World YouTube channel and on GRCup.com.
