Another date has been announced for the 2015 Pirelli World Challenge schedule, with Road America confirming the series’ return on June 26-28.
It will be a standalone event for the championship, with the GT and GTS classes expected in action.
The race runs a week later than it did this year, when it was June 19-21, and shared with the NASCAR Nationwide Series weekend.
In 2015 the NASCAR weekend, now called the XFINITY Series, shifts to the last weekend in August, August 28-29.
Meanwhile the Road America World Challenge date falls on the same date, June 28, as the third round of the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup action for the TUDOR Championship at Watkins Glen.
World Challenge has not confirmed its entire schedule, but is working towards adding further races in the summer months beyond the preliminary dates released following the 2014 season finale at Miller Motorsports Park.
