Samantha Tan and Neil Verhagen have taken a come-from-behind victory in Sunday’s Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS round at Sebring International Raceway.

Tan took the Pro-Am class No. 38 ST Racing BMW M4 GT3 to a 6.399-second win over the Pro class-winning No. 45 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Madison Snow and Jan Heylen in the 90-minute race that went caution-free.

Having started on the last row of the grid due to a technical infraction in qualifying, the American BMW factory driver charged through the field, moving up to second prior to the mid-race pit stop and driver change.

Tan emerged in the lead, after Ryan Dalziel in the No. 33 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 296 GT3 led from pole, and held her position through the duration of the race.

It marked ST Racing’s breakthrough first overall win in Fanatec GT competition as well as the first for both drivers.

Chandler Hull and Bill Auberlen completed the overall and Pro class podium in third in the No. 94 BimmerWorld BMW M4 GT3, in a race that saw an early race retirement for the No. 93 Racers Edge Motorsports Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 of Mario Farnbacher with suspected drive-line issues.

Farnbacher and co-driver Ashton Harrion entered the race second in the Pro class standings to the RS1 duo of Eric Filgueiras and Stevan McAleer, who finished third in class on Sunday.

The Racers Edge duo have now fallen behind Hull and Auberlen in the points heading into next month’s season-ending Indianapolis 8 Hour.

Adam Adelson and Elliott Skeer finished second in Pro-Am in their No. 120 Wright Motorsports Porsche, followed by Justin Wetherill in the pole-sitting Triarsi Ferrari and George Kurtz’s No. 04 CrowdStrike by Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.
