65 Cars Entered for 24H Spa Test Day

Sixty-five GT3 cars are set to take part in the official test day for the Total 24 Hours of Spa, which will take place on Tuesday.

Besides the regular cars and faces are new teams and lineups making use of the eight hours of scheduled track time on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit ahead of the Blancpain GT Series round later this month.

Among the newcomers is the Manga-liveried No. 00 Good Smile Racing & Team UKYO Mercedes-AMG, with 24 Hours of Le Mans Le Mans polesitter Kamui Kobayashi among the driving talent.

German squad Bentley Team ABT will get its first taste of the Blancpain GT Series as well, as will the KÜS Team75 Motorsport Bernhard team, with former Spa winner Laurens Vanthoor at the helm of its Porsche 911 GT3 R.

Oliver Gavin joins Barwell Motorsport once again and will team up with Adrian Amstutz, Martin Kodric and Patrick Kujala in the No. 77 Lamborghini Huracán GT3, which is currently second in the Pro-Am standings.

Duncan Cameron and Matt Griffin return to the series in the No. 49 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3, with Aaron Scott as the third driver.

Herberth Motorsport has added a second Porsche in the Pro-Am Cup for Daniel Allemand, Ralf Bohn and Sven Mueller, with all four Audi Sport-supported Audi R8 LMS GT3s, run by WRT, ISR and Sainteloc Racing, set to make appearances.

Selected British GT, Blancpain GT Sports Club and Lamborghini Super Trofeo entrants will also take to the track.

The grid for the race is expected to be in excess of 60 cars and will be revealed tomorrow.
