Dinamic GT haș confirmed a return to running Porsche machinery in Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS after its split with Ford.

The Italian squad recently announced an ‘abrupt end’ to its relationship with the Blue Oval after it was was planning to field the Ford Mustang GT3 in both Sprint and Endurance Cup machinery.

The switch initially meant an end to a multi-year relationship between Dinamic and Porsche in Fanatec GT competition, which had resulted in four Endurance Cup victories since 2019, although the team ran under the Dinamic Motorsport banner initially.

In the wake of its split with Ford, Dinamic confirmed on social media that it will return to running Porsches instead.

“We are thrilled to officially announce that this season we will be racing with Porsche,” the team wrote.

“A huge thank you for all your support and a special shoutout to our team, who overcame a tough time with the grit and courage that have always defined us.

“Because after everything we’ve been through, winning will taste even sweeter!”

Although the Instagram post does not name any specific championships, a team spokesperson confirmed to Sportscar365 that Dinamic will race in Fanatec GT Europe as part of its rekindled Porsche relationship.

It should be noted that despite the team’s initial intentions to switch to Ford, its work with Porsche was due to continue through Dinamic’s efforts at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

There, it has been Pirelli’s tire development team in recent years and fielded a Porsche 911 GT3 R for Laurens Vanthoor, Ayhancan Guven, Laurin Heinrich and Christian Engelhart in last year’s Nürburgring 24.

Further details for the renewed effort, including driver lineups, have not yet been announced.
