Garage 59 has set the full lineup of driving talent for its Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS program with McLaren, which will see the British team compete in both Sprint and Endurance Cup.

The team will field three McLaren 720S GT3 Evos for the five-round Endurance Cup campaign, with a two-car entry planned for the Sprint Cup.

McLaren factory star Tom Gamble and junior driver Benjamin Goethe form the core of the driving crew for the Pro entry in both series, sharing the No. 159 car.

For the endurance rounds, they will be joined by Dean MacDonald, who took a Gold Cup class victory in last year’s CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa with Optimum Motorsport.

“I’m extremely happy to be back with Garage59 again and drive with Tom and Benji,” MacDonald said.

“GT World Challenge will be extremely competitive again this year I’m sure but we are all ready to go and hopefully challenge for strong results.”

The team will field a pair of Bronze Cup entries for the endurance events, with reigning Porsche Carrera Cup GB champion Adam Smalley making his GT3 debut aboard the No. 188 car alongside Louis Prette and Miguel Ramos.

Prette and Ramos will also team up together in the Sprint Cup, with the Portuguese driver a two-time champion there in the now defunct Pro-Am class.

“I think we have a really strong line-up in the No 188 McLaren,” Smalley said.

“Endurance racing is a new challenge for me and I’m excited to learn from everyone on the team.

“I’m really looking forward to racing at Monza, Spa and Jeddah for the first time and to get out on track at Ricard for the first time today. I’m ready to put the work in and I can’t wait to see what the season has in store.”

A second Bronze Cup entry for the long-distance races will consist of Nicolai Kjaergaard, Lewis Proctor and Mark Sansom.
