A total of 36 entries are set for this weekend’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America rounds at Watkins Glen International, marking an increase of four car since last month’s season-opener at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
The pre-event entry list sees notable additions from NTE Sport and TR3 Racing, which have added Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2s to its lineup for the third and fourth rounds of the season.
The Pro class provisionally lists six cars, although is likely to see a seventh in the No. 12 Valkyrie Velocity Lamborghini of Dominic Starkweather and Tyler Cooke.
Nate Stacy, who was moved from Pro-Am to Pro during the Laguna Seca event, is due to have a co-driver in his No. 8 Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti Autosport entry, meanwhile.
Among the other additions include the No. 42 NTE Sport Lamborghini for the returning Luke Berkeley, who will join Keawn Tandon in the Pro-Am class entry.
NTE has doubled its efforts from Laguna, with a fourth entry to be driven by Jeff Courtney in the Am class.
Fellow longtime Lamborghini entrant TR3 has also increased its efforts, in fielding the No. 07 Lamborghini for Alexandre Lima and Pierre Klienubing in LB Cup.
A third TR3 entry, earmarked for the Am class, meanwhile, has a yet-to-be-confirmed driver.
Additionally, WTR’s LB Cup entry, which saw Graham Doyle in at Laguna, also is listed as a TBD at the time of the publishing of the entry list.
Following a sweep of the weekend in Northern California, WTR Andretti’s Danny Formal and Kyle Marcelli head into The Glen with an eight-point lead over teammate Ryan Norman in the Pro class.
NTE’s Tandon is tied with teammate Shehan Chandrasoma for the Pro-Am class points lead, with the two drivers now in separate entries this weekend.
David Staab holds a narrow one-point lead in the AM class points, while Mark Wilgus is out front in LB Cup after two rounds.
Track action for the single-make series kicks off on Thursday, with the first 50-minute race of the weekend set for Friday at 2:25 p.m. EDT and Race 2 on Saturday at 11:10 a.m., both which will be streamed live on Peacock, IMSA.tv and IMSA Radio.
