The No. 77 Pro class car of Jake Walker later brought out a second brief red when he went off track at Turn 8 in his Forty7 Motorsports machine.
Practice 2 ended under red flag conditions as the No. 25 Alliance Racing Lamborghini of Andre Lagartixa spun at Turn 13 after losing a wheel in the closing minutes.
Both 45-minute practice sessions also saw a flurry of warnings and penalties issued to no fewer than 14 cars for various pit lane infractions. While most received warnings, five cars were assessed drive-through penalties for repeated infractions.
Qualifying for both races is slated for Thursday at 11:55 a.m. EDT, followed by Race 1 at 5:55 p.m. with live coverage on Peacock and IMSA.tv.
