Jordan Taylor led a Corvette Racing sweep of the front row for Saturday’s Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park.

Taylor’s 49.958-second lap time in the No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette C8.R edged out teammate Tommy Milner by 0.142 seconds.

It came after a red flag for the No. 79 WeatherTech Racing Porsche 911 RSR-19 of Cooper MacNeil, who spun and got stuck in the grass. 

MacNeil lost his two quickest times during the session but managed to still record a 50.833-second time to start third overall and in the GT Le Mans class.

De Angelis Scores Pole; Hawksworth Quickest in GTD 

Roman De Angelis scored his first career pole in GT Daytona, while Jack Hawksworth set the quickest time in class in the two-stage qualifying format.

De Angelis reeled off a 51.729-second lap time in his No. 23 The Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 to edge out the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 of Hawksworth’s co-driver Aaron Telitz by 0.045 seconds.

Richard Heistand will start third in class in the No. 39 CarBahn with Peregrine Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo, with the sister No. 12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus of Frankie Montecalvo in fourth.

The No. 1 Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo of Madison Snow is set to roll off from the grid in fifth, meanwhile.

Hawksworth’s 51.545-second time in the No. 14 Lexus was 0.048 seconds quicker than the No. 76 Compass Racing Acura NSX GT3 Evo of Mario Farnbacher.

The Northeast Grand Prix gets underway at 3:10 p.m. ET with live coverage on Trackpass on NBC Sports Gold and IMSA Radio.
