Nearly ten cars are believed to have not met IMSA’s adjusted minimum drive time in Sunday’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, according to post-race timing and scoring data.

IMSA has yet to confirm the provisional results from yesterday’s round of the Michelin Endurance Cup, with a series spokesperson telling Sportscar365 that results should be issued later today.

It comes after a messy finish to the third round of the Michelin Endurance Cup due to an a hour-long red flag and nearly ten-minute clock stoppage that led to IMSA adjusting the minimum drive time.

Originally set for 1 hour and 30 minutes for all classes except DPi, that time requirement was reduced to 1 hour and 17 minutes, communicated by race control to teams shortly after the red flag was pulled with 35 minutes left on the clock.

The clock stoppage did not count towards the drive time calculation according to a note in the unofficial results.

While the drive-time infractions for the initial GTD Pro class-winning No. 25 Team RLL BMW M4 GT3 (John Edwards, 1:01), first place GTD finisher No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo (Philip Ellis, 1:16:04) and third-place LMP3 finishing No. 36 Andretti Autosport Ligier JS P320 Nissan (Gabby Chaves, 1:08) were communicated moments after the race, further infractions were not known until the issuing of the unofficial results some two hours after the checkered flag.

Additional cars that are expected to moved to the back of their respective classes include the No. 1 Paul Miller Racing BMW (Bryan Sellers, 1:13), No. 12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 (Aaron Telitz, 1:02), No. 32 Team Korthoff Motorsports Mercedes (Mike Skeen, 1:15), NTE Sport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo (Marco Holzer, 1:15), Crucial Motorsports McLaren 720S GT3 (Paul Holton, 1:08) and No. 99 Hardpoint Porsche 911 GT3 R (Katherine Legge, 1:10).
